How to apply for a Loan A member can apply for a loan as follows:
Most loans approved within 24 hours. Loan Officers can grant loans in excess of €12,000 above shares based on members record.
Credit Committee Meeting Times The Credit Committee meet on Friday evenings from 7pm to 8pm. Any loan of €40,000 above shares must go to the Board of Directors.
If a member neither lives nor works within the common bond, under the law, the loan application in excess of that members savings must go to the Board of Directors for their approval. The Board of Directors usually meets on the last Thursday of each month.
What is a Credit Union A Credit Union is a democratic financial co-operative that is owned and controlled by its members. It exists only to serve its members, not to profit from their needs, and so has no hidden charges. It does not discriminate in relation to race, nationality, sex, religion or politics. © North Dublin Credit Unions · Updated: 10 July 2007 |
